The Coming of Man

I hope you will take time to look at this video. Notice the squirrels right at the beginning. Now don’t you agree that the world would be a better place if you humans would just return it to squirrel rule?

If you are ready to discuss the terms of your surrender to the Squirrel World Domination Army, please leave a note in the comment section of this post.

  1. OMG! That was awesome! I think the squirrels were the only animals not to get pwned by the man in that video… I think that’s definitely a sign. Where do I sign up for the sciurine revolution?

  2. Secret Agent,
Sorry if it upset you but I think that was the point of the video. Instead of cherishing what we have, we exploit nature in the most vicious way. Anyway, squirrels would never do that to a lamb.

  3. thinking of man…and destruction…on a trail I frequently walk on had a bunch of garbage dumped on it. :( I don’t get that. or for that matter putting doggie doo in a plastic bag and then tossing it over a tree. idgits. sigh…the list could go on and on and on…

  4. emerrube,
The things you mention may seem small to some people but it is a reflection of the big problem of how people fail to care responsibly for nature in general. Sometimes partial education is also not enough. At one nature park here, people see posters everywhere telling them not to throw rubbish and litter. But the authorities fail to install sufficient rubbish bins on site. As a result people collect their rubbish and food scraps, place it in a plastic bag, tie it up and then failing to find a rubbish bin, tie it to the trees. This results in a stinky smelly sight.

  5. Riot Kitty,
I’m not a vegan …..yet. But I do believe in ethical treatment for animals and the principles of human-animal relationship as outlined in Desmond Morris’ book “The Animal Contract”. The conditions of modern industrial or factory farming breaches the contract completely.
